ODE to a BEE

Ode to a Bee

O humble bee, with wings of golden hue,

Thy gentle buzz brings joy to nature's ear,

As thou dost dance from flower to flower, true,

Collecting nectar, sweet as honey's tear.

Thy tiny form, a masterpiece of grace,

A marvel of creation, light and free,

With every delicate and swift embrace,

Thou spreads the pollen, life's sweet alchemy.

In meadows green, where wildflowers abound,

Thou art a symbol of industrious might,

Thy buzzing hum, a soothing, gentle sound,

As thou dost toil from morning until night.

Thy labor serves the hive's great unity,

Thou art a warrior, brave and true,

Defending queen and kin with loyalty,

Thy stinger sharp, a weapon to subdue.

But 'tis not fear that I hold in my heart,

As thou dost wander through the summer air,

For thou art part of nature's sacred art,

A symbol of resilience, beyond compare.

Thou teaches us the value of hard work,

And in thy diligence, we find our guide,

To strive for goals, no matter how berserk,

And never let our dreams be swept aside.

O tiny bee, thy life is but a blink,

Yet thou dost leave a mark upon this earth,

Thy honey sweet, a gift from nature's brink,

A testament to life's miraculous birth.

So let us honor thee, thou buzzing friend,

And strive to protect thy fragile home,

For in thy flight, the circle we do mend,

And in thy dance, the seeds of life are sown.

Ode to a bee, thy beauty doth inspire,

Thy presence brings a touch of heaven's grace,

With every flutter of thy wings, we aspire,

To live in harmony, within love's embrace.

So buzz, dear bee, and spread thy joy afar,

Through fields and gardens, you shall always roam,

A symbol of nature's infinite star,

And in our hearts, thou findeth thy sweet home.
